The title of actor Lee Byung Hun’s first historical film has been announced.

On June 1st, movie distributing agency CJ E&M announced that the movie title ‘King of Chosun‘ will be changed to ‘Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King.’ The officials said this decision was made because “the story focuses on the episodes that a low class man goes through to become the king of the country.”

In the movie, Lee Byung Hun will play Ha Sun, a man of low class who will be hired as a double for the sick king Gwanghae due to their identical look.

KARA’s Nicole showed her support for junior labelmates A-JAX by making a surprise visit to their music video filming set. On May 30th, a proof shot Nicole posing with A-JAX members was uploaded on A-JAX’s official Facebook page.

Nicole brightened up the atmosphere on the set as she passed homemade black tea and muffins that she made herself to the A-JAX members and filming staff. Immediately after returning from her Japan schedule, the KARA member paid a visit to cheer her juniors. She also gave tips on choreography and eye contact with cameras.

A-JAX members expressed their appreciation, “Nicole sunbae’s encouragement gave us great strength. We will work hard to become a group that receives love just like KARA.”

Actress Park Shin Hye will make her comeback to the silver screen with the upcoming film “December 23rd”, according to her agency 4HIM Entertainment.

Park Shin Hye has been cast to take on the role as the daughter of Ryu Seung Yong who is mentally disabled and a law student who is both pure and bold at the same time.

4HIM Entertainment revealed, “Park Shin Hye had many choices for her next work but she thought ‘December 23rd’ was the best choice for her. This movie should express something about Park Shin Hye that’s never been seen before.”

Park Shin Hye expressed, “I teared up while I was reading the scenario for the first time and I was just blown away by how the story exudes sincerity, laughter and sadness altogether. I hope to show a different side of myself as an actress through it.”

Following Super Junior’s Sungmin and J-Min, FT Island’s guitarist and vocalist Song Seung Hyun has been also cast in the popular musical “Jack the Ripper”.

Song Seung Hyun will be making his first attempt at a musical, becoming a part of the list of actors who will be playing Daniel in “Jack the Ripper”. Daniel is one of the main characters who is part of an extremely sad romance.
